To Our Valued Customers
Employee safety is a top CBC priority as we collectively manage the unprecedented circumstances of the COVID-19 crisis. We have been steadfast in our commitment to a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and customers during these challenging times as we have continued to support our essential business customers. We remain focused on protecting the health and well-being of our workforce consistent with evolving public health guidance and the official directives of state, provincial and local government authorities.
As part of our commitment to safety, a cross-functional team of leaders from our parent company, WESCO, has developed our COVID-19 Operations Recovery Strategy outlining various workplace health and safety measures to be carried out in every branch and DC. These safety protocols are mandatory for all CBC locations and require the united cooperation and compliance of both employees and customers. Locations with counter sales will ensure continued social distancing by posting signage and floor indicators and may limit onsite customer headcount through posted signage. Our Recovery Strategy requires that anyone visiting our facilities wear a face covering, unless there is a medical or other valid reason not to. Personal hygiene measures, such as wearing gloves, using hand sanitizer, and wearing PPE are just a few ways we are ensuring a safe environment at our locations. We perform daily disinfection of workspaces at our facilities. These safety measures are driven by guidance from public health authorities and legal mandates in many places where we do business.
These are unique and challenging times for everyone. Thank you for all you have done and are continuing to do to help protect one another by following the health and safety protocols CBC has developed. We appreciate your cooperation with these important policies, including the face covering requirements.
Please reach out to your branch for more details on safety protocols prior to visiting. Thank you for your continued business and please be safe.
